Description
Students can work on this activity independently. They pick the picture that has the short u sound in the middle of the word. The students can click on the picture to hear the word. The words are 3 or 4 phonemes. This is an excellent way for students to get practice and for teachers to informally assess the phonemic awareness skill, identifying the middle sound.
