Description: Making Comments (Pragmatics, Social Skills, Conversation) - Real Photos This is an interactive BoomBTS deck which mainly targets producing comments during conversation. The first few slides of the deck teach the child the importance of making comments when conversing with other people. One slide also teaches the child to produce contingent and relevant comments instead of off topic comments. 14 scenes are included and the child can either come up with his/her own comment (fill in the blank/speech bubble) or pick from the 2 choices provided. Just leave the speech bubble blank and click the 'choices' button to see the choices. The 2 choices include 1 relevant and appropriate comment and 1 off topic comment. If the child has already produced his/her own comment, you may also use the 2 choices to teach other possible comments or teach inappropriate comments. After this, you may do role plays and continue the conversation. This then can target other goals, such as: 1. Asking follow-up questions 2. Making comments 3. Topic maintenance 4.
