Description: Boom Cards Black History Reading Comprehension Your little learners will explore the importance of 8 Black History leaders, both present and past, including: Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr., George Washington Carver, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Alice Walker. Younger students and struggling readers will need someone to read to them. This digital task card deck includes audio directions by The Primary Brain. Each Black History leader introduces him or herself. The reading portion includes predictable text which follows the same pattern each time to support the students. Reading comprehension activities follow the introduction of each Black History leader. Students will click, type, drag and drop to answer reading comprehension questions about what they learned in the reading portion. Reading comprehension cards are included at the end as a review of all the Black History leaders represented in this Black History Boom Cards digital task card deck. This deck is self correcting. This deck is especially useful for whole class, small groups, or centers for students who are good readers and already familiar with this deck. This deck can be used for distance learning as long as the student has help to read these task cards. This deck contains 1 introduction card and one reward card at the end.
