Description
This Boom Cards™ product features two engaging 8-card sequencing activities centered on familiar, everyday routines. Each set includes a short, easy-to-follow narrative that describes eight sequential steps needed to complete each activity: Going to school (150-word passage) and Grocery shopping (151-word passage). After reading or listening to the narrative, students are tasked with placing the eight images in the correct order, reinforcing their understanding of sequence and story structure. Once completed, students can retell the story using the images as visual supports, thereby strengthening their comprehension, expressive language, and organizational skills. These resources are suitable for students in middle and high school, and homeschooled children. *** National Academic Standards Alignment: These narratives reflect a structured organization, the use of transition words, and chronological sequencing, aligned with the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts for grades 6–10.
