These 30 ELA digital boom cards require students to identify sentences containing phrases that are metaphors, similes, or neither. A variety of formats with some tricky (i.e. neither – using the words “as” and “like”) options are included. This is a great way to assess students' understanding of these figurative language objectives. These digital task cards would be great on a laptop, desktop, Chromebook, tablet, or any other mobile device that can access the internet. They can even be used on your Smart Board.
