Vocalic /r/ Game Show is a motivating way to target /r/! Also, EE is a facilitating sound when added before /r/, and this game allows for multiple opportunities to practice words with EER/EAR, eliciting correct /r/ production! Students will choose a column and dollar amount and practice producing words that contain EER/EAR by answering questions that elicit the sound. Difficulty level of the stimuli increases with high dollar amounts. This activity also targets language and inference skills, as students answer questions that require critical thinking.
