Description
Students can practice blending beginning and final digraphs (sh, ch, th), left to right tracking, reading real words, phonemic awareness, reading, and fluency. This procedure is based off the Orton-Gillingham blending drill and is a form of structured literacy and science of reading. Students need to read the sounds/words orally, so they do need to be monitored to ensure they are producing the correct sounds.
