Description: Students will locate points on a number line and then either add or subtract according to the model. The first 10 cards are addition. 12-21 model subtraction. Cards 11 and 22 ask students to determine which line shows a specific equation. Lines show halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, eighths, tenths, and twelths. Simplifying is also required. Great practice adding, subtracting, and simplifying fractions as well as identifying fractions on number lines! Use as instruction, independent practice, and even formative assessment!
