Description: Work on accurate production of l-blends. pl, gl, sl, cl, bl, and fl blends are targeted. In this Summer themed activity students are on a camping trip and decide which l-blend items they would like to keep on their trip and which items they would like to throw away. Drag and drop l-blend items to keep into the tent and drag and drop items to throw away into the trash can. Practice l-blends sound by saying each word 5 times or practice in sentences by saying "I want to keep the _____" Language extension: Speak with students about what the item's functions and why they plan to keep or discard the items during their camping trip.
