Description: The purpose of this activity is to initially teach the rules for use of "has" and "have" using context from pictures presented in contrast (singular subject and plural subject within the same content). After using Level 1 to teach the concepts, knowledge/recall can be assessed in Level 2. In Level 1, students select the image that represents the sentence displayed. The rules for use are explained to the student on the first page of Level 1 and a printable reference card is available on the 3rd card. Examples with visual supports are provided. In Level 2, a single picture is presented. The students use the knowledge they gain from Level 1 to practice the skills. The students select the correct word ("has" or "have") to complete a sentence using the context from the image and text.
