Description
This bilingual activity can be used to target the understanding of prepositions (on, in, under, behind, in front). The activity can be used in either English or Spanish and instructions are written in both languages on each slide. This activity uses real images of animals. This activity can be used to address receptive understanding of basic prepositions or expressive labeling of animals (verbally or with AAC). The instructor can give remote control access while screen-sharing. This allows the student to click on the correct image. If the student is not able to click on the screen, they can name the animal (cat vs dog) that matches the given preposition. Cute cats and dogs were included to increase engagement in the activity! Enjoy! I am a bilingual pediatric speech language pathologist and I use this activity often during tele-health sessions.
