Students read the interval, select the corresponding notes on the keyboard graphic, then choose the correct answer. The bonus step of visualizing on the keyboard is a great way to make this concept easier to understand! Cute clip art has been avoided in this deck, so that your older students can learn without feeling that the concept is too juvenile for them. Extra practice has been provided for the tricky zones around E-F and B-C. Both chromatic and diatonic half steps are included, although those terms are not used in this deck. (There is a RCM5 half and whole step deck in the store if you need these terms specifically.) Each card has both written and audio instructions. Three teaching cards explain the concepts at the start of each round, followed by 15 randomized cards. Students will play a different game every time.
