Description: With this listening comprehension activity, teach 5 listening comprehension strategies. These strategies will help instruct your students on how to improve listening skills and language processing. *This resource includes an instructional video along with a printable visual support of the listening comprehension strategies. *This product may take 2-3 sessions to complete depending on student level and amount of mediated instruction needed. After some initial practice with the strategies and learning heavy machinery, your students will participate in 3 listening exercises: 1. listen to and follow one-part directions to create a matching scene 2. listen to and complete one-part directions embedded in a narrative format 3. listen to and complete one-part directions with competing objects in a narrative format For multifunctional use, a variety of construction related verbs (dump, hoist, push, stack, etc) and basic concepts are presented throughout the activities.
