Description: This middle school tier 2 vocabulary bundle contains all 5 of my popular vocabulary decks. Each deck contains 2 sets of 6 words the students interact with in an evidence based format. Students are given a one paragraph story using the 6 words to determine their ability to use context clues to obtain word meaning. They are also given a matching page to match words to definitions. For each vocabulary word, there is a definition page, an example/nonexample page, and a sentence page where they are given an example of the word in a sentence and asked to write their own sentence. There are un games available to work on further developing their knowledge of the words memory, four in a row, dots and boxes, tic, tac, toe, crossword puzzle and/or I spy. Each time the memory and tic-tac-toe games are played, the word and definition locations are changed. The one paragraph story is then repeated with comprehension questions. The students are again asked to write sentences using the words. Finally, each set ends with the matching activity. These decks are perfect for teaching new words and/or quick sub plan activities. With these decks, your vocabulary lesson planning is done.
