Description: This deck is great to target with kids that have a difficult time participating in conversations! Deck 1: This deck targets a child's ability to create questions during a conversation. It briefly explains the importance of asking questions to your friends. The child is provided with a short sample conversation and is prompted to take over the conversation and role play with a peer or teacher. Deck 2: This is great for kids who need help participating in conversations. (remaining on topic, asking questions, and commenting) A "shy" student needs help responding to a new friend. Choices are provided within a field of three. Deck 3: This deck is great for targeting conversational skills and turn-taking. Each conversation consists of six total verbal exchanges. The first two verbal exchanges are provided. The student/students complete the conversation by creating 4 verbal exchanges. Deck 4: This is a great deck to use for social skills. The student is provided with a statement and has to choose an appropriate question to ask within a field of four. Please see my other deck, where the student can practice making appropriate comments based on a statement.
