Practice decks supplement each lesson learned inside the reading intervention program, Letter Sounds Made Simple. (Workbooks sold separately on TPT.) Activities inside this deck: 1) Listen to a sound, then identify the letter. (Audio included.) 2) Finish the sequence of letters, letter combinations, and short words. (Drag & drop your answer.) Note: Lessons are sequential. In other words, they build upon letters previously introduced in the reading intervention program. For that reason, please assign practice decks in sequential order. For example, assign Letter Sounds Made Simple 1.1 before Letter Sounds Made Simple 1.2. (Translation: 1.2 = extra practice for Workbook Level 1, letter group 2.) IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: We treat all vowel sounds in the LSMS program as short sounds. For example, read “ca” the same as it would sound in the word “cap,” not “cape.” If your child or student does not yet read at grade level, the complete Letter Sounds Made Simple Program helps fill sneaky reading gaps.
