Description: This interactive no-prep activity contains a a variety of winter clothing items to help students build a variety of expressive and receptive language skills in an engaging way! Students are able to answer WH questions, label clothing items, label colors, label body parts and increase MLU to form 2-3 word utterances. The activity contains the following: - Visual sentence strips to help students increase MLU - A variety of winter clothing items (e.g. sweater, jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, ear muffs, mittens, snow pants & ice skates) - A variety of colors (e.g. red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, pink, black, brown & white) Students are able to form the following sentence structures: - Adjective + Noun (e.g. pink sweater) - Preposition + Noun (e.g. on my feet) Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - WH Questions - Describing (e.g. colors & attributes) - Clothing Items - Body parts
