Matching Uppercase & Lowercase Letters (26 cards) Students look at the picture (or click the sound button to hear the name of the picture) and the lowercase letter on each of the submarines, then drag the matching uppercase letter to the center of the submarine. Beginning Sounds, Phonics (26 cards) Students look at the pictures on the submarine or click the sound buttons to listen to the names of the pictures and drag the correct beginning letter sound to the center of the submarine. Please note: The letter X pictures are ending sounds, not beginning sound pictures. Please let your students know this prior to playing the deck. CVC Words (25 cards) and CVCe Words (20 cards) For each card, students name or listen to the picture and then drag and drop the letters to spell the CVC word or CVCe word on the submarine.
