If so, these decks can help While completing the Underground Railroad hunt , students will learn how the railroad began, how it was kept a secret, who worked on it, and more. Then, in the Harriet Tubman hunt, students will learn why Harriet chose to work in the Underground Railroad, how many slaves she helped free, other ways she helped people, and more. In each hunt students answer 16 multiple-choice questions. First, they read a question and its possible answers. Then they read information that will help them answer it. If they choose the correct answer, they are directed to the next question. If their answer is incorrect, they can revisit the passage again to find the correct answer. The final card in each hunt challenges students to write 3 interesting facts they learned from the hunt. These hunts can be used to supplement a study of U.
