Description: This bundle contains three decks that work together to support students to think about topics of conversations with conversational partners and then ask questions regarding these topics. I would suggest starting with generating topics and then moving to the deck on asking questions or making comments. Please note stimulus included is the same for the questions and comments deck. - Generating conversational topics: This deck supports students generate topics to keep a conversation going or start a conversation by prompting them to think about the topics/what they know about other people and themselves and then deciding what they would like to talk about. It is a useful concept for students who would like to prepare for their interactions with others and aren't sure what they would like to talk about with others. - I can ask questions/make comments: This boom card deck supports students to use 'topic trees' (a method of brainstorming topics you could talk about based on what you know about your conversational partner) to generate questions / make comments to initiate or maintain conversation. On each card the student is provided a complete topic tree and sentence regarding what the speaker knows about their conversational partner and asked to generate a question /comment they could ask based on this information. All cards are open response.
