Description: These digital beat strips will help your littlest of learners develop their listening and music reading skills. These 2 sets ask for students to fill in all 4 of the beat boxes but also challenges them with 16 different ta and ti-ti patterns. The sound patterns in set 1 (with "vocals" or voice prompts) play when students click on the sound icon (top right). The sound patterns in set 2 (rhythm only) play when students click on the sound icon (top right). They will hear 4 beats first (to help guide their listening and to feel the tempo) then the pattern will begin. Next they arrange the image icons into the beat boxes to match the pattern they hear. Finally they click the submit button. These make a great addition to your lessons as either individual, small group or large group learning and assessment. They also make a fabulous center (as a whiteboard activity)!
