Description: This resource includes a variety of printable activities AND a Boom Cards activity to teach students about rhyming words and practice phonological awareness skills. This product includes 4 different activities. These activities would all make excellent activities for small groups or literacy centers: 1. 56 Rhyming Puzzles: Print on cardstock and laminate for durability. Cut apart the cards to create puzzles. Each puzzle shape is different so these puzzles are self-correcting! 2. 28 Rhyming Clip Cards: Print on cardstock and laminate for durability. Students will put a clothespin on the rhyming word. If you'd like the cards to be self-checking, simply flip each card over and add a star, smiley face, or sticker on the back of the card just behind the correct answer choice. You could also use these cards with magnetic chips! 3. 5 "Rhyme Time" worksheets: These could be used for independent practice or homework. They use the same words/pictures as the other activities. Students will cut apart the pictures and glue them next to the rhyming words. Also a great opportunity to practice fine motor skills! 4. Boom Card Activity: Students will listen to two words and decide whether they rhyme or not. Includes 30 Boom Cards
