Description: This interactive no-prep bundle contains a polar bear wearing different winter clothing items. This bundle helps students build a variety of expressive and receptive language skills in an engaging way! Students are able to answer WH questions, label clothing items, practice pragmatic skills (e.g. commenting & requesting) and increase MLU to form 4-5 sentence structures. Students are able to form the following 4-5 word sentence structures: - Noun + Adjective (e.g. the hat is blue) - Subject + Verb + Object (e.g. I See a hat) - Subject + Verb + Adjective + Object (e.g. I see a blue hat) The activity contains the following: - Visual sentence strips to help students increase MLU - A variety of winter clothing items (e.g. sweater, jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, ear muffs, pants, boots, & snow suit) Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - WH Questions - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Colors - Describing (e.g. attributes, colors, shape, etc.) - Identifying and Labeling Clothing Items - Body parts (e.g. can ask students to identify body parts on the polar bear)
