Description: Complete set of INDEPENDENT PRACTICE and PROGRESS MONITORING Boom Cards that coordinates with the Irregular/Heart Words taught in Lessons 1-110 (Kindergarten-1st Grade sequence) The PRACTICE sets use a "Gradual Release of Responsibility" (I Do, We Do, You Do) model that focuses on creating student independence while targeting the learning of important heart words. When using the PROGRESS MONITORING sets and an error is made, students will have the opportunity to VIEW the correct answer, CORRECT their mistake, and move on to the next word. As the teacher, those incorrect answers will be marked with a RED X on the individual student reports page. If you click on the RED X, you will be able to see the errors the student made...the correct answer will be linked and the incorrect students guesses will be circled in Red. PLEASE NOTE: These Boom Card set focuses on the Irregular/Heart Words introduced and taught in the corresponding UFLI lesson numbers. This Boom Card set is neither aligned nor endorsed by UFLI in any way. All of my available Boom Card spelling activities were created by me for the purpose of providing additional, meaningful, self-correcting independent center activity options for students.
