Description: Math code 2 is a fun series of BOOM cards that test a student's mental math skills with basic arithmetic through a fun game of trying to find the right numbers to make all the sums work, much like math code 1, only this time with images that represent numbers for a bit of an added twist. Grids of images are displayed in such a way that they create equations in different directions with the answer given. The student must figure out what value each image represents with the aid of the equations. If, for example, "apple + apple = 2" is displayed, they can work out that "apple = 1" and so on. The equations are formed horizontally, vertically and diagonally, to ensure only a single unique solution exist for each puzzle. The first few slides are relatively simple, and will allow the student to get the hang of things. They become progressively more challenging as you progress through the deck. In this bundle of decks, combinations of addition, subtraction, multiplication & division equations are presented.
