Description: ***PLEASE READ ME FIRST*** There are a total of 25 jokes in these decks combined. Please realize that some jokes will repeat among decks (as there are only so many holiday jokes out there). Repetition of jokes within sound "groups" was avoided (ex. all /r/ decks with have unique jokes, /k/ and /g/ decks will have unique jokes, etc.). If you have purchased my Thanksgiving "Dad joke" decks, the speech sound targets are essentially the same for each phoneme, but obviously the jokes will be different. The following target sounds share the same jokes. Therefore, if the same student uses these decks for /r/ blends and /g/, the jokes will repeat.: 1. /r/ blends, /g/, and "sh" 2. Initial /r/, /l/ blends, and "ch" 3. Intervocalic /r/, /s/, and "j" 4. Vocalic /r/, /s/ blends, /f, v/ 5. /k/, /l/, and "th" Directions/Info: A single deck will contain 5 jokes. There are 25 jokes in total withn the bundle. During the activity, students respond to clues to identify a target image that contains the specific sound being addressed. As students identify/name the word described on each card, the punchline to the joke is gradually revealed. See if the student can guess the punchline before it's revealed. Each deck includes 45 unique targets/words. You can modify the task to have the student produce the target from word - sentence levels.
