Description: DECK 1: SANTA ELF BEGINNING SOUNDS with TWINKLING TREE Gif Students will find ALL objects that begin with the letter inside the wreath & put them in the elf's bag. This makes the task more thoughtful since there can be anywhere from 1 to 3 pictures beginning with that sound. Many answer choices will begin with a similar sound, so again, challenging the student to isolate the beginning sound carefully. This also gives the teacher feedback on the specific errors students are making. When students put an object in bag, the object DISAPPEARS! All pictures have AUDIO for easy identification. Bonus gif added to all cards: tree with twinkling lights. There are 30 cards in the deck. ©Designed to Educate by DEB 2020 DECK 2: TOY STORE BEGINNING SOUNDS This fun beginning sounds game has a toy store theme. Students shop at the toy store for items that begin with a specific letter. On each Boom Card the cashier's "monitor" displays a letter. The student looks at the three toys on the shelves and determines which toy begins with that letter. The student drags the toy off the shelf and drops it in the shopping bag. Toys disappear when dropped in the bag. When student clicks "submit" the toy goes back on the shelf if incorrect. If student is correct the game says "correct" and student moves to next card.
