Description: This or That Icebreakers - Are you looking for seasonal ice breakers to practice conversation skills and get to know your students? This bundle includes the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter! These activities will ask students to choose between two things (e.g., "Would you rather go snorkeling or surfing?", "Would you rather eat ice cream or frozen yogurt?"). These questions make great conversation starters, brain breaks, or short activities to fill a few minutes at the beginning/end of your session. You could practice conversation skills (answering questions, staying on topic, asking questions, taking turns) with your social skills groups or practice speech sounds at the conversational level with your articulation groups. You could practice vocabulary, grammar, and using complete sentences with your language students. I have also included hand gestures for large groups or classrooms so students can give a thumbs up or raise their hand depending on which one they choose!
