Description: This GOALS themed idioms/proverbs bundle of four decks is perfect for supplementing a unit on goals/dreams or to add to an idioms class. The decks, all self-checking, are as follows: INTRODUCTION DECK: Each card has the idiom or proverb along with its meaning. Students can read or click/tap the audio icons to listen. Each card also has an image that either gives a hint of the idiom/proverb's meaning or represents the literal meaning. DEFINITIONS: Students will click or tap to choose the correct definition (from a list of three choices) for the given idiom/proverb. An image is included that either gives a hint of the idiom/proverb's meaning or represents the literal meaning. TRUE/FALSE: Students will read a statement and decide if it's true or false based on the meaning of the idiom/proverb within the sentence. IN CONTEXT: Students will read one or more sentences with context clues embedded within the sentence(s).
