It is one of the fundamental principles necessary for linguistic competency in both verbal and written communication. It is a set of materials designed to facilitate flexibility, comprehension and use of syntax. Each question includes a series of sentence elements that are sequentially out of order. The students are asked to reassemble the elements in each set to form a syntactically and semantically accurate sentence. Suggested answers are included but other correct answers are possible and acceptable. Quiz Game 2: Syntactically Speaking ~ Build a Spooky Sentence Quiz Game is a Halloween themed sentence resource for building and elaborating sentence structure using a quiz game activity. Each question has a number of sentence components including single words, phrases, nouns, verbs, when or where elements, and adjective or adverb describers. The students are asked to incorporate each of these into a grammatically correct sentence. Words may be modified and new words added as needed. Students are encouraged to use their imagination to make the sentences as interesting and fun as possible.
