Description: Help students or clients familiarize themselves with their AAC systems while practicing the core verb SEE. This activity supports AAC users as they learn to locate vocabulary, repeatedly practice a single core word, and communicate using their device or communication system. Drill: SEE This resource features 34 different paired scenes set in classrooms, movie theaters, sporting events, and other familiar settings. In each pair, someone is blocking the person’s view in one scene and standing out of the way in the companion scene. Students decide whether the person can see or not see, providing repeated practice with the core verb SEE in clear, meaningful, and often funny situations. Two Levels Included: Level 1: The matching see and not see companion scenes are presented next to each other Level 2: The scenes are mixed up Students can respond using AAC and/or verbally. There is nothing to click—students respond on their AAC device, communication system, or verbally. This activity can be used with a variety of AAC systems, including TD Snap, Proloquo2Go, TouchChat, LAMP Words for Life, and other communication systems.
