Description: This bundle includes three BOOM scavenger hunts about amphibians that will keep your students engaged and learning. In the 37-card amphibians scavenger hunt students will learn the 3 groups of amphibians, what the difference is between amphibians and reptiles, why frogs croak, and more. Then, in the 39-card frogs and toads hunt, students will learn differences and similarities between frogs and toads, what unusual thing they do with their eyes, why they don't drink water, and more. Finally, in the 47-card salamanders hunt, students will learn the differences between salamanders, newts, and sirens, why salamanders are are "keystone species", how they protect themselves from predators, and more. To complete the hunts, students are presented with a set if multiple-choice questions. First they read a question and its possible answers. Then they read a passage that will give them the answer. If they choose the correct answer, they are directed to the next question. If their answer is incorrect, they can reread the text to find the correct answer. They receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned about the reptiles or amphibians.
