Description: These 32 Boom Cards are designed to help your students practice identifying different types of informational (non-fiction) text structures. Five text structures are used: description, sequence (sometimes called chronological), compare and contrast, cause and effect, and problem and solution. Each card features a short informational paragraph (with signal words and phrases included) and a choice of text structures. This differentiation bundle features two identical decks, one with and one without audio support Supports Common Core Standards: CCSSRI.3.8 - Describe the logical connection between particular sentences and paragraphs in a text (e.g., comparison, cause/effect, first/second/third in a sequence).
