Description: At the Mountain Shop students play "Would You Rather" as they add prices & compare, looking for cheapest option. Ski shop is full of beautiful ski accessories with prices shown. Each question slide asks "Would you rather buy _______ or ______?" Ex: 2 hats or 1 pair skis? After answering correctly, they go to snowman builder page (48 movable pieces) & add 2 items to work on snowmen. Home page has snowflakes to click on which take them to the ski shop for another question. Adorable gifs on the snowman builder page! The 3 Decks are basically different levels for differentiating: *Deck 1 item prices are each $10 or less. Addition to 20. *Deck 2 item prices are double digits. *Deck 3 item prices include decimals. Focus is rounding to nearest dollar & trying mental math to solve. *LOTS of student CHOICE! *23 slides in EACH DECK *48 movable pieces on snowman builder page *Gifs add to the fun! *Great for Mental math practice & building fluency *2 step problem solving *Adding & comparing sums *AUDIO for all directions and questions NOTE: Images on snowman builder slide are on multiple (invisible)layers, so sometimes need to move images to get to the smaller items! NOTE: Directions say to move "2" items on the builder page at a time. It's fine if they do more, just check your reports if you want to make sure they did the ski shop question slides! You can check out the first 4 Boom cards in EACH DECK before making a decision! ©Designed to Educate By DEB 2021
