Description: This two-deck bundle is perfect for passive voice exercises and teaching sentence structure. With a total of 116 cards, these syntax activities help students master complex sentences and enhance their overall sentence development. Both decks effectively target the form and usage and understanding of passive voice sentences. DECK ONE is an EXPRESSIVE task where your students will be given simple sentences and asked to produce the passive form for those sentences. Six simple forms are introduced here and are slowly scaffolded to ensure mastery of each form. The last 12 cards are open-ended so that you can decide if the skill has been mastered. Your students will receive 66 cards which contain 97 fill-in prompts, 6 drag and drop prompts and 12 open-ended prompts. (NOTE: Knowledge of simple past tense is needed) DECK TWO is a RECEPTIVE TASK which contains more complex forms of the Passive voice. Your students will receive a 50 card deck with 50 separate complex, and passive sentences to comprehend. A multiple-choice question on each card helps you decide if the student actually understands the sentences. These passive sentences contain a variety of complexity which include, modified nouns and adjectives, adverbial phrases, and embedded forms. Sentences are introduced from the simplest at the beginning of the deck and slowly increase in complexity. Make your students think and more importantly, have fun while learning!
