Famous World Landmarks Vocabulary Unit: Parts 1 & 2

Description: This is a huge unit that covers 14 different famous landmarks around the world. (7 in part 1 and 7 in part 2, they were originally one resource but it was too many pages and BOOM learning could not support it). This would be great for social studies lesson, non-fiction reading lessons, speech therapy lessons (focusing on vocabulary) I suggest starting with the reading passages for each landmark so the students can get the basic information about each one first, Each of these activities come with three comprehension questions and a describing activity (with a real photo of the landmark). Another helpful feature in these passages are the highlighted vocabulary words, at anytime, click on them to go to the vocabulary review page for that word. I have also included 3 other activities ***Vocabulary activities: Venn diagrams (2 levels), simple compare/contrast/ vocabulary review pages, vocabulary matching, and synonym/antonym matching. ***Labeling Activities: See if your students can label the landmarks and the continents! *** Map Challenges: There are three challenges included: Mini map challenges, landmark continents challenge, and the big map challenge. All of these challenges let the student drag the landmarks to the map! I also included some printable worksheets (link to access them is on the first card) The printable worksheets have a few extras + a user guide (landmark drawing challenges, writing prompts, vocabulary worksheets, comprehensive reviews (tests), etc..)
