Description: Deck 1: Student is provided with a sentence. Student is prompted to identify if the underlined portion of the sentence is a cause or an effect. Deck 2: Dinosaur themed activity that is great for children working on social skills, specifically problem solving. Student is presented with a 1-2 sentence scenario which consists of a problem. Student is prompted to identify the problem and formulate an appropriate solution. Deck 3: This deck targets problem solving skills. The student is presented with a short reading passage (2-4 sentences). The student identifies the problem and then selects the solution (within a field of three). Deck 4: Student is presented with a short story. The student is asked to identify the problem within the story. Then, the student formulates an appropriate solution based on the problem.
