Description: This bundle of resources assists in teaching of the early functional communication skills of commenting, expanding utterance length (MLU) and using descriptors. It caters to a broad spectrum of students, encompassing various levels, from photographic to clipart, both with and without visual supports. Perfect for Preschool, early language development & speech therapy. Students will see different farm animals and formulate a 5 word comment, using size as a descriptor. Features: Interactive Sentence Structure Visualization (card 2): An interactive diagram that illustrates the building blocks of sentences. It includes a mix of visuals, audio and text to help students grasp the concepts easily. Practice Describing Using Size (cards 3-9): Students practice/review building sentences using a descriptor (size), by selecting the right word to complete simple sentences, employing visual supports (where applicable), labels & audio to reinforce understanding. Sentence Construction Practice (cards 10-16): Moving beyond individual words, students progress to formulating complete sentences, specifically the carrier phrase 'I see'.
