Description: Sentence Assembly: Word Order – Simple Sentences and Simple, Compound and Complex Sentence Structure is designed to improve flexibility in the comprehension of syntactic structure for the correct formation of sentences. The card activities focus on the ability to rearrange and connect a set of words that form a sentence about one of the creatures living in the rainforests of the world. Students read the mixed-up words, write the words in a correct sequence to form a sentence then read the completed sentence. Suggested answers are found under the green bar on each of the cards but some of the word sets may have more than one acceptable correct answer. Click 'Next' to move on to following set of words. An optional printable notebook is included for writing the sentences and/or illustrating them.
