Description: This bundle of boom cards contains the following sounds and blends: *P, B, M: initial, medial, final *T, D: medial, final, *G,K: initial, medial, final, *F, V, S, Z: initial, medial, final, *Multisyllabic Words, * Prevocalic S Blends: Sm, Sn, St, Sp, * L: initial, * L Blends, * Prevocalic R, * R blends. Each deck contains a total of 25 cards, with a minimum of 21 opportunities to practice each sound or blend word. Each practice card contains: *a picture, *the written word in red, *a "hear it" (ear) button to push to hear the spoken word (optional), *a thumbs up button-push if word articulated correctly, *a thumbs down button-push if word was not articulated correctly and the student can try again. Each deck also provides a slide showing an image to teach how to say both sounds in the blends or an isolated sound with a mouth image to use as a helpful visual aid. You can structure your sessions to have the student say the word at the word, phrase or sentence level. The SLP can identify the word as articulated correctly or you can have the student self-monitor and determine if their production was correct or not. When the word is not said correctly, the SLP provides cues or directs the student to press the ear to hear the word again. Then the student can try again.
