Description: Deck 1: Student is presented with a social situation. A quote is provided within the social situation that implies what the person within the story should do next. Student is prompted to select the best plan of action within a field of three. Deck 2: This deck target's a student ability to respond to inferencing questions. Student is presented with a short story. Student reads the story and then responds to several inferencing questions for each text. Student is prompted to provide at least one detail in order to support their response. Deck 3: This deck targets problem solving skills. The student is presented with a short reading passage (2-4 sentences). The student identifies the problem and then selects the solution (within a field of three). Decl 4: This deck targets a child's ability to take turn during a conversation while they remain on topic and ask/state appropriate comments/questions. The child is provided with a short sample conversation and is prompted to take over the conversation and role play with a peer or teacher.
