Description: These decks may be used in speech therapy and occupational therapy sessions to assess medication management skills or facilitate improved medication management. Included tasks are designed to address attention, visual scanning, reading comprehension, safety awareness, problem solving, and executive function skills. DECK #1- USING A PILL ORGANIZER- Patients mimic using a pill organizer by placing pills in the correct location (per the instructions provided). DECK #2- MEDICATION PROBLEM SOLVING & SAFETY - Patients complete each card by reading the problem and selecting the correct response given 4 multiple choice options. DECK #3 - READING MEDICATION LABELS (Fill in the Blank)- Patients complete each card by reading the label and correctly responding to the fill-in-the-blank questions provided. DECK #4 - READING MEDICATION LABELS (Multiple Choice)- Patients complete each card by reading the label and correctly responding to the multiple choice questions provided.
