Description: Deck 1: Student is presented with 3 picture cards. The student sequences the picture cards and then states what the person is doing (with a fill in the blank for a target noun). Lastly, the student retells the story with the prompts, first, next, and last. Deck 2: Students are prompted to identify if the picture depicts a girl or boy. After selecting the gender, student identifies if the person is a she or he, what the person is doing, and the object within the picture. They are then prompted to read a sentence consisting of the previous words they have selected. Example: "She is picking an apple." Deck 3: This deck targets a student's ability to use the correct verb tense. Student is provided with the term, "yesterday." They are given one example that show the appropriate verb tense to use. Then the student selects the correct verb for the second sentence (within a field of two). Deck 4: This deck targets a student's ability to use the correct verb tense. Student is provided with the term, "yesterday." They are given one example that show the appropriate verb tense to use.
