Description: Mr. Moose is back to teach students, this time about commutative property! Slides 1-3 of each deck show Mr. Moose's lesson with his animal friends. Deck 1 covers commutative property of ADDITION. Deck 2 covers commutative property of MULTIPLICATION. He uses number bonds & arrays, along with teaching gestures. There is back & forth conversation between Mr. Moose and animals throughout lesson (AUDIO for all of it). Focus is on understanding CONCEPT of commutative property, not solving for an answer (answer is given, so they don't get distracted from the actual purpose). Students use the magic magnifier to locate an equation. On next slide they type the commutative property equation. If correct, they move forward. If not, they can go back to look at equation and try again. Lessons & directions have audio/sound so that students with difficulty reading are still able to work on the skill. You will notice intentional color coding throughout the deck to enhance comprehension.
