Description: Bundle and save 40% Help your penguin win the game - and of course target 8 different phonological processes using the minimal pairs intervention - by being the first to toss all their snowballs. Tux and Shiver are best buds, and they love to have snowball competitions. In this game, the first penguin to run out of snowballs on each slide wins. There are 7-10 game slides per deck and 7-10 chances for each penguin to win. Each slide contains 6 minimal pairs for (for a total of 42-60 minimal pairs per game). Step 1: Decide which penguin goes first (flip a coin, draw straws, rock/paper/scissors, etc.). Player 1 names one of the speech targets and clicks on the image. It will disappear to reveal 1, 2, or 3 snowballs. Then click on the corresponding number of snowballs in your penguin's pile. They will also disappear. Step 2: Player 2 then names a speech target, clicks on the image, and then clicks on the same number of snowballs in their pile. Continue taking turns until one penguin runs out of snowballs. That penguin wins (at least for that slide). Step 3: You can keep score throughout the slides, counting the number of "wins" until the end of the deck. The locations of the snowballs underneath the speech targets are randomized and students cannot memorize the game. It's a new game each time you play. If students don't want to play against each other, they can team up and play the speech therapist or adult.
