Description: 6 Decks of cards that build on each other. Students are provided with a multiplication table, counters, grid lines, place value cues and color-coded guides. All of these supports allow students to gain enough practice as they work through the decks to fade out their dependency on color-coded guides and rely on their place value knowledge. These cards allow students to transfer their skills gained through these boom cards onto paper because students are expected to build their own area model, regroup when needed and line up their numbers on the grid as they would on a piece of paper.
