Description: Deck 1: Student is presented with four different items. They are prompted to sort the items and identify if the item is a noun or verb. Deck 2: This a great task to use for children who are struggling with using the correct form of "to be" in the present tense (is and are). The child is presented with a singular or plural noun and has to select IS or ARE to correctly complete the sentence. Deck 3: Singular vs. Plural: Student is presented with two pictures of the same item (i.e., books). One picture depicts multiples of the item (i.e., 3 books) and the other image displays only picture of the item (i.e., one book). Student sorts the picture into the singular or plural box. Deck 4: This a great task to use for children who are struggling with using the correct form of "to be" in the past tense (was and were). The child is presented with a singular or plural noun and has to select WAS or WERE to correctly complete the sentence.
