Description: This bundle includes 2 scavenger hunts that cover 38 different Native Americans that can be used to teach students about the impact Native Americans have had on U. S. history. The Famous Native American Hunt covers 20 Native Americans that were encountered by early settlers in America while the Modern-Day Hunt covers 18 individuals from the late 1800s until now. Each card covers a single individual from the time of their birth to their death (or current status) and tells about their skills, positions, interactions with white people, or accomplishments. To complete each hunt, students read a multiple-choice questions and then read the passage to find the answer to the question. Students receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned from the hunt. They can be used as a Native American Heritage month activities, to supplement a study of American history or Native Americans, to enhance the understanding of a story, or practice for reading informational text.
