Description: 1. On Topic or Off Topic This boom deck reviews differentiating between on-topic and off-topic responses. There are 20 questions in this deck. Each slide will have a conversation starter and a response. The student will have to determine if the response is on-topic or off-topic. 2. To Post or Not to Post-This deck reviews 20 different scenarios to review with the student if they are appropriate or not appropriate to post. 3. Serious or Sarcastic-Interpreting Text Messages This boom deck reviews 20 different text messages and asks the student to determine whether the message is serious or sarcastic based off of the context clues. 4. It is Okay to Say This deck will review 20 scenarios with the student that could happen in the academic or social environment. The student will then determine whether or not it is appropriate to say out loud what they are thinking. 5.) Perspective Taking-This boom deck includes 25 perspective taking examples to review with your student or group regarding perspective taking. I created this deck to review what perspective taking is, why perspective taking is important, and how to take the perspective of someone else. 6.) Self Advocacy-This Boom Deck lesson will teach students what it means to be a self-advocate in the academic setting. Multiple scenarios will be reviewed that could happen at school, and the student will respond to these and be provided with potential solutions.
