One Room Schoolhouse

About me: <span style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Geneva, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;">I currently teach a 3rd-5th-grade self-contained classroom for children with special needs. I taught a resource classroom from 1999-2004. In 2004, I moved to a k-5 self-contained special education class. It was very much like the old one-room schoolhouse! I taught k-5 for 8 years until our population grew and we were able to add another teacher. I am privileged to teach in an arts integrated, Tech 1:1, and Title I school. We use the arts and technology to teach the core academic standards.</span>
